Loved it and it was so fresh. Not over the top but a beautiful floral smell

i have to start by saying that i recently fell in love with muse after trying it at a retailer. so much so that i went through x2 50ml bottles in less than a month. i had seen it'd been reformulated with better quality ingredients after looking on the who is elijah website and was very intrigued. for some reason i had a feeling that the ones i had tried previously were the old formulation (it turns out i was correct) and so i decided to purchase a 100ml bottle directly this time, excited to experience a longer lasting, more intense version of the muse i love. that however was not the case upon receiving my order and spraying it on myself. initially i didn't really notice it as i was already wearing nomad, but once i got home, showered and then sat with it more, i noticed something was off. tried wearing it again the next day and same thing. i even did a side by side comparison of the old vs new with some friends to get multiple opinions and they all agreed there was a significant difference.

this new version is completely overpowered by what i believe to be the ambergris. from the moment i smelt it to the dry down, all i could get was a strong, ""crushed beetle"" type smell that reminds me of fragrances like sexy amber by michael kors and olympea by PR - and why i don't like them

it's unfortunate because i truly believe the old formula could've been a strong contender in the skin scent category alongside things like dedcools milk, JHAGs not a perfume and commodity's personal scent profiles. it was fresh upon the initial spray, with a very subtle floral, musky dry down that was beautiful and DID infact last on my skin

i can't help but feel like it was changed to cater to the people complaining about the ""alcohol"" smell you initially get but being a subtle fragrance and being alcohol based that should kind of be expected. it was never something that bothered me because it dissipates in seconds. i really hope you guys bring back to OG formula because they really aren't the same and it was something truly wonderful <3

I regret to say that I'm very disappointed with my recent perfume purchase. When I tested it in the store, I really liked the fragrance. However, the bottle I bought smells overwhelmingly of alcohol. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher quality scent.

Nothing compares to you Muse!! Oh how I have missed you on me!

Muse is definitely clean girl energy. I wear Muse on my subtle days, the projection is a lot more intimate than some of the other Who Is Elijah fragrances which is what I love about her. Muse is less “notice me” and a lot more close and flirtatious, like playing footsies under the table or sharing a milkshake.

Always receive compliments when wearing this amazing scent. That gives you confidence.

Smells amazing, one of my favs!

I absolutely adore this scent and get complimented often when wearng it. It's not sickly sweet or overpowering, it's just lovely. Nomad is really nice too.

Smells very much like another WIE fragrances, nice, but not for me

I have 6 different scents from the Who Is Elija range now. I started with one 10ml and 2 samples and was so impressed by the quality, I purchased more. Haze is my favourite, but it can be a bit heavy to wear on its own for some situations. Layering it with Muse balances it out perfectly. And the longevity of small amount of these perfumes is nothing short of impressive!

Original formula was beautiful, layered and balanced, I frequently received comments and it was my daily scent. Running out I ordered a new bottle, not knowing they had reformulated this and to my horror it literally smells like bug spray, it makes me gag. It smells so horrendous, i couldn’t believe it. Even after dry down, it is weak and has a rancid chemical profile. I compared it to my old bottle and the difference is night and day. Really disappointed, and wish they would revert to original formula, instead of obvious cost-cutting reformulations.

Such a great idea to have a small version for your purse from the large version to top up throughout the day.

This perfume is such a beautiful smell and sits on the skin really nicely. It’s musky but soft and last really well.

Love the smell of this fragrance, my only problem is that I can’t smell it on myself, probably a good thing, I think this means that it suits me. My daughter tell me that I smell lovely. I love it because it is light and fresh which I like

It smells great, however does not last at all. Stupidly bought two bottles whist on sale before realising this. However, if you want to smell really nice briefly then go for it.

Usually a Morning After girl, but I got a sample of Muse and His/Her and loved them both too! All scents are beautiful if you love a spicy, earthy scent. Not sure if I’m just used to the smell as I wear them every day, but I feel the longevity could be improved. Other than that no notes!
